Reasons to Use an Aromatherapy Roll-On

So nice to see your face!

Are you using or have you ever considered using an aromatherapy roll-on?

It’s a small but mighty little natural tool that has so many benefits. Simply smelling oils activates deepest areas of our minds. Scent travels to the brain so much faster than sound or even sight.

As I was reaching for my aromatherapy roller yesterday, on the way to the grocery store, because I was experiencing an episode of extreme restlessness and heightened anxiety, I was inspired to write this quick post for you.

Our sense of smell is powerful, and so is everything that we apply to our skin, as it enters the body quickly.

Therefore, we can almost instantaneously reap the benefits of the many therapeutic actions of essential oils. They can, hence, be wonderful little companions - naturally - to keep on hand especially for emotional support.

the power of nature’s living essence -

Without further ado, here are a few reasons as to why you should start using an essential oil roll-on.

An Essential Oil Roller Can:

  • lift your mood

  • reduce feelings of anxiety and stress

  • calm a racing heart and decrease feelings of overwhelm

  • Increase Awareness and mental clarity

  • Spark Creativity and Motivation

  • Support Focus and Concentration

  • Enhance Deeper Breathing Experience

  • Stop a Headache and release tension

  • Boost Energy Levels

  • Support a Grounding and Calm Feeling

Not so sure where to start? Don’t feel like making a roll-on yourself? I can help.

I also have 2ml and 5 ml trial sizes available in my Etsy Shop. See options here. Customizable based on age.

How to Make and Use an Aromatherapy Roller:

In a 10 ml roller top bottle, add 5-10 drops of essential oils, for starters. Fill the rest with carrier oil - such as jojoba, sweet almond, or fractionated coconut oil. Give it a little shake. Apply roll-on to areas such as wrists, down neck, behind ears, on collarbone, and temples. Inhale deeply a few times. Re-apply every few hours as needed.

Note: Essential oils are volatile, which means the aroma, albeit triggering physical and emotional responses instantly, can fade rather quickly when applied topically. Essential oils work best when used continuously over time as scent memories can be created, which means your body responds faster to an aroma, already familiar.
