DIY Bath and Kitchen Scrub
Hello fellow natural living enthusiasts!
This morning, I would like to share a simple but very effective Bath + Kitchen Scrub recipe.
In our home, we’re on a quest to simplify as much as possible and when that means that we can use health-friendlier options and save some $$ in the process, I am all in.
You can double or triple this recipe to have some scrub handy for the next round of cleaning without having to whip it up again. Store it in an essential oil safe glass jar (can also look very pretty) and get scrubbin’ when needed.
How to Make This Bath + Kitchen Scrub
Combine all ingredients; mix well:
.5 cup Baking soda
.5 capful Thieves Household Cleaner
(Grab sample sizes in my Etsy shop or get a bottle here.)
3-5 drops Lemon essential Oil
(Purchase a bottle here.)
Optional: 3-5 drops Thieves Essential Oil Blend
(Grab a bottle here.)
5-6 Tbsp Castile Soap
(I use Dr. Bronner’s.)
Sprinkle on surface you want to clean and scrub away.
Can be used for toilet bowls, sinks, bathtubs.
And if you don’t feel like DIYing —
you can simply grab the Thieves scrub right from the Young Living site. If you shop through me and are a first-time customer, I will be sending you some helpful happy mail.
Let me know what you think in the comments. If you have any questions, I am all ears!
Happy scrubba-dub-dub away.
